Shamela Bal-Maharaj

Mrs. Shamela Bal-Maharaj is an accomplished finance professional with more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and holds a Master of Business Administration with a Specialism in Finance, awarded with distinction by Heriot-Watt University. She also holds a Diploma in Treasury Management from the Association of Corporate Treasurers.

Throughout her career, Mrs. Bal-Maharaj has served in several senior leadership positions, demonstrating extensive expertise in financial management and strategic oversight. She currently has executive responsibility for the finance, accounting, treasury, and capital markets functions of Home Mortgage Bank.
